I know it has nothing to do w/ Ultimate, but since this event affected us all no matter American or otherwise, I'm curious to know what people think with regards to the biggest (and most controversial) event ever to take place on USA soil.

It should be noted that the Twenty Minutes with the President interview between Charlie Sheen and President Obama never really happened.  At the bottom of the transcript it reads:

Author’s Note: What you have just read didn’t actually happen… yet.

This is an open letter to the President requesting a new investigation.

Charlie Sheen.

Hopefully it happens someday though.  There are just tooooooooo many holes in the official story supplied to us by our very own government.

On a side note, if you haven't yet watched Loose Change, do yourself a favor and give it a view.  You won't regret it.  At the very least, it raises many questions that the US government has answers but is failing to reveal to its citizens.

Unfortunately the vast majority of commentors (and by extension we can assume readers) fail to have noticed that it's a fake. I have no opinion 1 way or another about the content, I simply don't have the evidence to make an informed opinion, but the format of the information is highly irresponsible.

The disclaimer "Author’s Note: What you have just read didn’t actually happen… yet" unfortunately doesn't excuse the author. He has deliberately conned the majority of the readership into thinking that President Obama actually said those things, and such a tactic certainly takes the "sheen" of credibility off of any facts he may have presented.

Wether the information he presents is true or not there is no excuse for deliberately misleading people into thinking the interview took place.

Good point kryptonick.  The small print at the bottom is a furtive tactic which leaves many readers believing that the interview actually did take place (I was actually duped on this one myself - DOH!).  Charlie could have placed it at the top of the transcript as a forewarning of some sort.  That being said, it makes complete sense why he chose to do what he did.

In today's world, tactics are everything (especially when it comes to the media).  Newspapers, magazine, TV ... they are all looking for ways to spread their message (be it right or wrong) no matter what it takes.  Mr. Sheen has worked tirelessly to bring to light the multitude of questions that remain unanswered with regards to the events of 9/11.  Had he placed a notice at the top of the transcript that it's contents were fictional, many readers would have stopped right there and missed the message entirely.  Instead, Charlie puts together a compelling "story" which makes people think and ask their own questions.  It encourages them to do the research and discover on their own that the US government has not been honest with us about the tragedy that took place 8 years ago this very day.

*sigh*  Sad, but true.  Sad, but true.
