Hey Everyone, I get my discs at www.Disc-Ace.com (if you haven't read any of my other posts). And I was just curious of other places yall get your discs from, whether online or at retail stores.

What are your favorite places to buy your discs and what are you least favorite?? (just curious)

being the poor college kid i am, i try to get them from the local disc golf store here in town. They sell our state championship disc for $5.

other than that: tournaments/unmarked discs on sidelines on Sunday afternoons.

www.goaltimate.com

Has Ulti and DiscGolf discs. As well as Goaltimate equipment.

Pretty good shipping costs as well.

I personally am a fan of discraft discs.

But along the same lines, I was hoping to print off some discs before the Spring season, and I was wondering where people got their discs printed. I saw Disc-ace has them, but I couldn't find a generic price for a two color scheme disc. Any ideas or great deals?

Thanks

You can order from Disc-Ace or another retailer or directly from Discraft (http://www.discraft.com/ultimate.html).

The minimum order size for a custom order seems to be 100 in all cases.

I would think that ordering from Discraft would be likely to offer the lowest prices but may be the same deal as elsewhere.  Call or email to ask for a quote.

For some basic pricing info though, check out this link with some cost info: http://www.internetdiscshop.com/info/custom-discs

First of all, my area doesn't host any tournaments or have any disc sport shops so I have to get my discs all online. (The only disc you can buy in town is a wham-o.)

The post above me mentioned internetdiscshop.com of which I am definitely a fan.  They have a great selection of custom discs and a good deal if you can get a group together to buy four (get a fifth free).

For plain old ultra-stars I bought a 3 disc set from amazon and got free shipping which put the cost around $8 per disc.

I usually steal mine from Heads of State, who usually stole them off me in the first place.

I like getting misprints from sportdiscs.com
http://www.sportdiscs.com/catalog/item/1190550/680615.htm

Fun to get random designs and they end up at like 6 bucks a disc for 10 of them including shipping.

Also, discraft can now do 50 piece minimum orders for those want to purchase more to sell.

Thats where I get mine and of course tourneys and finding them on sidelines  Smiley

I buy tourney discs as memoirs now and that's about it.  I have enough and usually pick up at least 1 or 2 freebies per season from people losing them.  I live in Ottawa, so there are lots of private and retail options.  Since Ottawa has the biggest league in the world, many sporting goods stores carry UltraStars.  Also, Daredevil Discs are located here, so there is always an abundance of those around for purchase/custom ordering.

I ordered my Ultra-Star off of ultimatediscstore.com. I was pleased, I just wish they would have sent me an e-mail giving me an ETA.
