I was recently playing ultimate with a group of people at a park they had this type of frisbee I really liked.

It wasn't like they typical cheap $10 frisbee I buy at walmart.  This frisbee had a really small rim (virtually no rim but like a regular sized ultimate disc not frisbee golf) making it a lot easier for me to flick and hurt my fingers much less.
I looked at a lot of sites that were selling frisbees but none of them showed like a side view so i didn't know if I was looking at the right one.  I was wondering if someone could help me find one of these frisbees.  I'm an amateur when it comes to ultimate so I don't know what I'm looking for thank you =] and they also said it was the kind they used in college, but im only 13 so i don't know what kind they use.

i'd say its a discraft ultrastar.  frisbee is actually a copyright name by whamo toy company and they are the cheap ones at walmart.  discraft is the official disc of the upa, here is a link to the homepage:

most likely a discraft ultrastar. I tend to get mine from www.lookfly.com as they are based in the UK, so shipping is reasonable. I also get them printed with lookflys logo, since they offer them slightly cheaper that way. You'd be talking about $15-$20 in the states I guess, I get mine for between $8 and $16 depending on if I order 1 or 50.....

Like they said, UltraStar is the disc of choice. (And still only cost around $10). I have yet to find them in any store, so after paying shipping online they bump up to around 13.

I got mine at goaltimate.com, but they are all over the place.

www.DiscAce.com has a sweet new site. They're selling the Ultra-Stars for $8.99 right now.

They are actually cheaper than that if you use coupon code discace1 at checkout
