This week is the end of our academic year, and so on friday most students are heading back to their home town/country, so this weeks training session I was going to make a bit less serious than the others had been. The problem is other than just playing games I cant really think of anything interesting to do.

Any ideas?

I second Schtick.

One practice we had a sort of...I forget what it was called.  Olympic gauntlet?  Basically we had somebody time while we each took turns doing a sort of obstacle course.  In our case this meant running to spots and throwing for accuracy into a lacrosse goal, some cutting/shuffling cone setups, but you could very easily throw in a hula hoop for laying out through or the like.

One at a time means you can have other guys help with setup, but you could do relays or something like that to make it even more exciting.  Can be a good workout and "fun" for the change of pace it offers.

we ended up having too few people to do alot, so we went to the pub and got drunk. The beach might have been a good idea if I had arranged transport, nearest playable beach is a good 10 miles or so without any public transport access.

I realise this is a little late now but what the hey, you may find yourself in the same situation next year or so..

the last few sessions we had in Exeter consisted of only like 5 people (as opposed to around 30) and so we weren't capable of much. It ended up have mac-line competions, games of 500 and disc-golf (which involved going over the entire campus as it was pretty quiet!). It made for more relaxing sessions that were still pretty fun and definitely not a waste of time. It then ended with us just having a little bit of a throwing practice just to wind down, mainly just hucking practice putting two people under it to compete (so basically a smaller game of 500)

@ Tenk283 : Not all our beaches are like that! Shocked It's more the winds that are the problem Wink
