I like the idea of adding something like child boards for the regional section.
I am thinking mainly of North America, since that's where I live (haha). I think it would be an awesome idea to have child boards for North, East, South, West, and US Territories. The other regions could have something like that, but I am not particularly sure how (or even if) they are divided up. You could even go further in those sections for the different states (Like California, Oregon, Washington, etc for West).

This could help community members find out what's going on around them easier--especially if there is a tourney or a tryout or something happening near them.
