When Nike cleans up its act I might consider buying their products again.  I wouldn't want to wear a shoe made by a 9-year-old.  Globalisation should mean we care more about the basic human rights of our sisters and brothers in other countries; not just getting cheap shoes so we can play sports.  When Nike opens *all* its factories to inspectors (as of now they do not), they may get me back as a customer.

Nope, just an ethical consumer.  Reebok, New Balance, & Adidas all allow full inspection of their (& their subsidiaries') factories.  Nike doesn't.

Ultimate has been a passion of mine for 20 years, but it's hardly the most important thing in my life.  Certainly not important enough to buy Nike products, even if they'll make me "feel faster."

Sorry should have been more clear, I meant the original post those cleats look horrible for ultimate. They look very large and clunky and heavy even though it says they are only a pound which is pretty good. I also wouldn't buy anything that Jordan and isn't for Basketball thats just a way for them to charge like $20 bucks extra for the same pair of cleats.

yes...i was joking  Cheesy

just wanted to see what reactions I could get.
I cant believe they would even make something like this.

The cleats are removeable so maybe after getting a layout point you can run to the courts and dunk over a 7' guy in rec league.

It says 15.6oz. That's for one shoe. That's extremely heavy, around the weight a XC training shoe is. Nike Vapor Mercurials are 9oz or something and Nike VaporJet 4.2s are around 10-11oz per cleat. Over all, I imagine the OP was poking fun at the idea of those cleats for Ultimate, let alone for any other serious sport.

Haha.  Count me among those that bit.  I didn't want to say anything about the design because, well, that's a matter of taste.  But ugly & heavy they are.

I'm currently playing in Blades made of (nuisance) kangaroo leather for soft ground (spring/summer), and NB rugby shoes with webbing grip for baked turf (autumn).

Strange shoes. Tongue

Why would they make something like this?  Removable cleats? Insanity.
