So I have a terrible allergy to fire ants. Terrible as in if I get bit once, I go to the ER. Now I've been playing Ultimate for a long time, but I recently started playing on an unkept soccer field with some people, that has plenty of ant mounds. I'm positive a lot of them are fire ants.
So my question is, what kind of protective leg and arm gear can I wear to help ensure I don't get bit when I dive for a disc? I know a popular brand is under armour, are there any other suggestions? And, with it currently being summer and all, I'd prefer for the clothing to be breathable. I don't want to die from the heat, or anything
I'm pretty sure I can find a simple tight fitting long sleeved shirt for the top, but for the bottom, all I really see are warm-up type pants. Would these be my best option?
