I suggest the addition of a forum for ultimate media (photos, videos and the like) or a miscellaneous forum for things that don't seem to fit in any of the other forums.

I like the idea of a new ultimate forum. RSD was way too crowded and too hard to find information.

Great suggestion Richy.  I've added a few personal fields to the profile page.  To change your profile, just click the Profile link on the navigation menu above, and then click the Forum Profile Information link on the left of the resulting page.

If you could add a "new posts" button, then people who check every day can click on one place to find what they haven't read yet instead of having to click on each forum separately.

Actually, you can do this now.

On the homepage is a section towards the bottom called Recent Posts.  It displays the 5 most recent posts (be they new posts or replies to existing posts).

If you click the icon within that section, it will display a page listing all the posts on the site in order from newest to oldest.

You can can also subscribe to the RSS Feeds for the category(s) you are interested in.  On the homepage, click the icon next to the category you want to add to your RSS Reader (built-in both IE and Firefox).

Give it a try.
