Hey! I'm new here, and I'd like to know I could start an intramural program at my school this upcoming year. None of the schools in my district have a team, but since ultimate is pretty popular at my school, I thought about starting an intramural program. Problem is, I don't know how. I have no idea how to separate players into even teams, or even how many teams to have and games to play. All I know how to do is get the word out. Any help?

Hey ultititan,

First off, welcome to UT!  Smiley  Good to have you aboard.

As for starting an intramural Ultimate Frisbee program at your school, I would suggest starting with contacting USA Ultimate (the governing body for Ultimate Frisbee in the USA).  I found this link on their website which will have a lot of good information for you:

http://www.usaultimate.org/resources/development/youth/default.aspx

I believe they can provide you with all of the details you need to start your program, and perhaps even the gear to do it.

You can also check out PlayUlty.Com (http://www.playulty.com) which has a lot of valuable resources for teaching and learning the game of Ultimate.

Good luck!
