Hey everyone, I'm looking for some help studying up for a tournament.  Our coach sent us this video saying that we would be running this and to study it.  Problem is the camera work isn't great and the people running it appeared to be a bit confused themselves while executing it.  I've been scouring the interwebs looking for a diagram of this offense but haven't been able to find anything regarding it and was just wondering if anyone might know where I can find a diagram or a better explanation.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey Jeff,

Welcome to UT!  Smiley

The horizontal stack (aka ho stack) is a great offense indeed, and seems to have taken over the traditional vertical stack in terms of preference.  The drill video you provided is just that, a drill.  It doesn't really explain how the horizontal stack properly operates in play.

There's a lot of talk about the horizontal stack on here.  Click here to check out these search results.

One resource in particular you should read is here:

Good luck!

Thanks for the quick reply seppo.  Yeah I actually came across that article while trying to find info, good stuff.  I'm fairly new so I thought this was an actual offense.  Interestingly enough, after I posted my question here, the video showed up on ultimaterob.com so we'll see if any more helpful discussion pops up over there.
