Rofl.    >Are you smart enough to view this? (Quoting doesn't count) haha it was me who gave Cupcake all those positive karma points... Every time I used to come on during youth nats I gave him +1. He's my mentor, I have to give him something back hahah <

Been thinking about people/roles a bit:

The mens team seems to have plenty of handlers but a bit of lack of receivers in comparison?

The women seem to have the opposite problem - admittedly I know less/nothing about them - because the only dedicated handler girls I can think of are Bec V, Lyra, Meagan and Barb. And to be honest I'm not even sure if traditionally they handle, all I know is they have the throws.

Only eight or nine days to go, lets get the talk happening! From people other than Lex, too, if that's okay.

Easy. Tell Robbie to stop pretending to be a handler and start playing deep  Tongue

Team Gary had Cat and Mandy playing as handlers at Mixed Nats (often against their wishes! But hey, they had the throws).

I imagine there'll be a fair bit of 'sorting out into positions' done at the training camp.

with the boys a lot of the handlers can cut fairly well if they can muster up the energy and break out of the old man syndrome.

as for the girls ellie is a reliable handler and so is meagan c...they just need to be forced into these rolls. =) so add them to the list and the 2 melbourne girls you have a bunch of sweet handlers.

No deal.

What about the defensive players/ offensive cutters? Tongue

Well, there is a huge difference between 'having the throws' and playing handler, although I don't doubt that over the course of the next 200-odd day's training Piers or Matt could hammer whatever role they wanted to into pretty much any of us.
