Well, with the registration up tomorrow I think it's about time to get some talk happening about this year's Longest Day tournament.

Who is likely to put in teams? Will there be as much fresh fruit as last year? Who will get more sunburnt - Max, or me? And most important of all... will those guys bring a beer bin again?

I can't wait.

Ahhhh, the Longest Day tournament.  Best beach tournament there is...period!  How I wish I was gonna be there.  Just thinking about it brings back memories from so long ago, like how I was so hungover for it one year that I couldn't even raise my body off the warm sand to play.  I just laid there like a washed up fish.  Cheesy

Alas, while I won't be there this year I hope to be there the next.  Seppo has officially begun the Skilled Migration application process.

Tally ho y'all!

but really the big question is which teams will actually get 1 of the 16 spots given there are 22 teams currently registered...

Are you even old enough to drink T?

Have been for about a month now.

Rachel has a good point - apparently this year the 16 spaces were filled by about 9am on the morning rego opened?

Turns out I'm not the only one who likes beach frisbee.

There's a few cases of the same club putting in two teams, so it depends on them getting payments in first.

I would love to see "No, We're Newcastle A" get a spot ahead of "Newcastle A"  Grin

You speak with such authority Jangles but I would be highly surprised if the women were to retain the same name.

Any final decision on names will not be made until the teams are actually selected...

ok well dingos are definitely staying the same as any attempt to change it will be met with a couple of backhands from a few of the alumni.(unless someone comes up with an excellent suggestion)

obviously the women are mummering about it, but will they voice opinions about possible changes. Shazzas maybe??

what is but a name, does not a team smack you down just as bad if they are named the fairies???

The Bathurst crew are looking forward to The Longest Day, it's always fun playing in the cold, miserable weather that is Bathurst and switching that into awesomely hot weather at Narrabeen!

I'll be super psyched to play too. First Ultimate back from getting the cast off of the arm Smiley Just as long as Hari isnt sitting there encouraging dive and splats again!!

Bring it on!
