Hi folks, my name is Ryan and I'm a US college ultimate player who is going to be studying at Curtin University from July-November 2008.  I'm looking for some information of what the scene is going to be like and who should I talk to if I want to join/ practice with a club team in Perth.  I'm 20 years old and have had 5 years of competitive ultimate experience and love the game. 
Where should I get started?
What part of the season will be happening at this time?
Who should I talk to?

July-November is mixed and university season in Australia. Curtin haven't previously had a team at AUG (Australian University Games - like college nationals) but I believe there's been a team put together this year. 5 years experience will put you among the top shelf of university players - you'll love it I don't know who the key person at Curtin is, but I'm sure the Perth boys on this forum (Timmy, Dens, Staples) will point you in the right direction.

Ryan, just take a look at www.wafda.com or post here again if you need anything and we'll hook you up. We have a league with around 12 teams plus some Uni teams and mens (Sublime) and womens nationals teams. There are also a few other uni players here from the states at the moment.
