Hahahaha..reminds me of Nationals in Coffs this year, Sublime owned that party...
"Sublime, Can you please put your shirts back on?"

You might call it owned. I'd call it [them] obnoxious and anti-social.

Rubi beat lounge lizards and lost the other two.  No idea about the other games in the pool though

The crossovers, I imagine. If it's the same as last year, it's some sort of mess with pools of 3 or something. I was captaining a team last year and couldn't work it out even when I sat down for 15 minutes to try. All I remember is that winning some crossover game on universe point (8 point comeback) ended up giving us the afternoon bye AND the Sunday morning bye.

So crossovers today and playoffs tomorrow.

So from what I can gather (which you will quickly see isn't much).

Sugoi
Vintage (Undefeated)
Faff
Yoooouuu! (Undefeated)
Smurf
Miniature Horses
Kaboom A (ACT - Possibly Undefeated?)
Spider Pig

You will notice number one seeds mind the gap are out. They were beaten by Sugoi by about 5 points. Pie wagon knocked out by faff

Good stuff. That should earn Victoria a wildcard or two next year.

The draw structure was:

1st day: 6 pools of 4, top 2 advance to new pools of 3, bottom 2 go down to new pools of 3
2nd day: play the other 2 teams in your pools of 3. This gives rankings for the pre-quarters (round of 16), so top placed teams from the bottom pools play against the top seeds (sCAPEgoats played YOU, not sure what the other match-ups were). For the teams in the top pools those games were just for ranking going into the pre-quarters.
so final round of day 2 was pre-quarters for top 16, quarters for the 17-24 bracket
3rd day: quarters, semis, finals for 1-8, 9-16, semis & placings games for 17-20, 21-24

Only know all this cause I flew home last night... unfortunately missing the joy of trying to come 17th today.

As the fields were spread out over 3 locations it was hard to catch up on results from anywhere other than your fields so I have very little idea of any results other than RuBi's.

I do know the draw was horrid for us yesterday, we played 3 games from 10:30 - 3:30 with no break longer than 10 minutes. The draw needs to have more time between rounds in the last stages of play, since those games are much more likely to go to time cap.

How sure are you about that? I thought when I was leaving yesterday Vintage was playing Faf in the pre-quarters. If that was the case then both of them can't be in the quarters.... but it was at a distance so I may have not recognised the teams correctly.

No news from Pool G (WD, Rubi, Lizards, Sheep)

For completion's sake

1. Sheep (NZ)
2. WD (Newcastle)
3. RuBi (Sydney)
4. Lizards (Brisbane)

Sheep got beaten 15-6 (?) by YOU in the cross-over.

Apparently Semi's are Vintage v Spider Pig and Kaboom v FAF. YOUUU lost to FAF in quarters.
