Basically I'm ripping off The Huddle's idea.

I'm looking for a few people (6-8) to take part. Basically we run a draft to pick a hypothetical team to take part in Mixed Nationals this year. Any Australian player can be picked, but only those who live here (no 6-month exchange students or travelers). After we have our squads, I'll be running them past some experts in the field and we'll see who picked the better team.

Post here if you want in.

Experts?

Anywhoo, I'd like to hear the rationale behind the teams picked as well and the reasons why people think they are the best....

The experts don't know who they are yet.

And Jangles, the answer is "incredibly". It's amazing how much free time I have now that I've finished my undergrad degree.
