I'm going to an 8 team, 8 player (5 on and 3 subs) indoor hat tourny on Saturday and want to go prepared with some ideas for offense and defense.

Being indoor I'd be tempted to stick with a man throughout, but being a hat fitness might be lacking, so I had considered suggesting a 1-3-1 zone. I figured the front man would pressure the disc, the 3 flat across the middle, (perhaps more to one side depending upon the force?) and a big guy (i'm 6'5, so maybe me when i am on) hanging back to cover the deep threat.

On O I'd imagine nothing more than a vertical stack would be possible, due to the varying degrees of experience. What would be your suggestions for organizing cuts. When in a pick up game, I tend to just have handlers and receivers cut in a specific order (each player gets a number) but to no specific area. Is that the best thing to do here, or do any of you guys have better suggestions?

I know hats, particularly at this time of year, aren't taken too seriously, but more wins = more games = more fun Cheesy
